Driftwood 04:23
Time imitates life, I synchronize, adjusting Floating in and out of the tides Like driftwood, weightless and dry Life provides a steady decline A minute has soaked up a moment Time imitates life if I waste it It never was mine Out of air I come to the surface Swallow myself a new breath of purpose I can't drown, not when I'm living I can't drown, not when if I'm swimming Time imitates life, I synchronize I'm swimming Floating in and out of the tide Like driftwood, weightless and dry Weightless and dry Out of air, I come to the surface Swallow myself a new breath of purpose I can't drown, not when I'm swimming I can't drown, not if I'm living Weightless, weightless, weightless Weightless, weightless & dry...

Standing at the door, someone cried for more Looking at the light, nervous from the fight Filling up with sand, heavy was my hand Heavy were the words, the fury of a bird Walked into the night, worthless to the core In a dress that felt too tight, The only thing that wants to hold me anymore Into the night Like a stone to touch You don't touch so much Another talking head You never hear a word I say Walked into the night, worthless to the core In a dress that felt too tight, The only thing that wants to hold me anymore Into the night, another empty street Burdens in my head, beasts at my feet I walked into the night Cut me down to fit me in Make me lose so you can win This downward spiral I am in I got myself to blame for it I walked into the night, worthless to the core In a dress that felt too tight The only thing that wants to hold me anymore Into the night, another empty street Burdens in my head, beasts at my feet Walked into the night, walked into the night Walked into the night, walked into the night I walked into the night

Ghost Road 07:14
The road, is haunted With ghosts, time gone by They lie, and linger As I go by A ship is waiting to take me home A light is shining, leading me on I'm told of places We go when we go The past, golden faces Steal away to distant shores A ship is waiting to take me home A light is shining, leading me on Archangel Michael, standing by the door He calls to me, I cannot go

June 04:20
The coldest day in June Wishing for the sun A love that went to soon to its grave You are the only one to bring The yellow of the spring that heaven made Build it, it will come This is what they say This is what they say when faiths gone out to play All the wishing of this world Could never empty me of what's to be With all of my love I will take the road back to you With all of my love I will take the road back Falling from the trees Coming down in leaves Autumns here already we are three We are the lonely ones the selfish breed Thinking that ourselves is all we need Oh, you and me forever and the sea With all of my love I will take the road back to you With all of my love I will take the road back In the morning, day is dawning Shaking past regrets and lovers debts from weeks before In the morning reality comes dawning And I'm seasons gone a road that's drawn That leads away from you Somewhere it would seem Lies a life that lived in dreams Another turn to take and I will take it, When all desire is purged and every urge is urged I will be free Oh, you and me forever and the sea With all of my love I will take the road back to you With all of my love I will take the road back to you With all of my love I will take the road back to you With all of my love I will take the road back

For The Moon 05:03
I don't want to ache with you Past reveals, hidden truth A stratosphere, of love and fear Made of things that aren't real Oh I want to let go of us The way that it was Cos the soul that you know Is swimming in gold And it's more than you say, It's more than I say, More than we feel, What we know is real, Tears for the moon, And a heart when it's starting to take I want to be here with you, new Let the ghosts drift away forever And it's more than you say, More than I say More than we feel What we know as real Tears for the moon And a heart when it's starting to take Long, long ago A child caught a bird in mid flight She didn't want to let it go But in the end she knew it was right

Edge of Joy 03:58
He got lip, she got hip He goes down low She couldn't go Oh that poor poor boy How he took you to the edge of joy And there he knocked you over Got you high like you could've died This boat is going to sink If you don't start to think - baby girl! You gotta take him by the hand Make him understand you gettin' off his shit tonight He'd steal the dimes From a dead man's eyes He'll give you five minute love and look like it too him by surprise Oh the poor poor boy How he took you to the edge of joy And there he knocked you over Got you high like you could've died This boat is going to sink If you don't start to think - baby girl! You gotta take him by the hand Make him understand you gettin' off his shit tonight My desire needs detail My desire needs detail Oh that poor poor boy how he took you to the edge of Joy poor boy how he took you to the edge of Joy poor boy, took you to the edge of joy!

Dovetails 04:16
I saw you today, your face looked out of place Softly turning I thought it would rain, but the clouds just went away Left us burning All of it, all of it I want to take All of it, all of it I want to take I felt just like a bird, that flew too far away Couldn't find its way back When you lock it up it's grace When you know it out it's not Who determines that? All of it, all of it I want to take All of it, all of it I want to take And this is how it is, Up against the rest, We find it hard to fit, Like dovetails Wake up to the wicked city I'm coming to I see it clearly The faces change but the words all stay the same Can't take it back it's much too pretty I fall into the ugly city For me and you, there is no turning back And this is how it is, Up against the rest, We find it hard to fit, Like dovetails

Your eyes look the kindest I’ve seen, in a while The softest they’ve been, making me smile I’ve been away, Maybe I’ll let a little love come down Tonight Let a little come down, mmm Gets cold here this time of year Then again all year round Nothing warm about a lover torn from more secure ground I’ve been away, but maybe I’ll Let a little love come down Tonight Let a little love come down I know it’s time. I’m tired, exhausted from hearing myself think. Where’s the new moon when you need it? The old moon’s still full and conceited Oh, this is how I see it, I need it. I need it.

Ships 06:45
Breathe easy Breathe easy I am captured Eyes opened When I climb upon that silver moon I notice what I'm feeling When the cog starts turning in my mind Burning for a reason When it doesn't stop And I find I've lost all feeling When it last I can I find it all repeating I want to come down I want to come down Under water Silent space Breathe yes I oughta Peace instead When I climb upon that silver moon I notice what I'm feeling When the cog starts turning in my mind Burning for a reason When it doesn't stop And I find I've lost all feeling When it last I can I find it all repeating I want to come down I want to come down Oh The light it slowly dies And to my surprise Everything shines Everything shines Nothing erased Memories of that place Where both of us shine Both of us shine We're still shining We're still shining
